 2 Hour Getaway Sail

Overview

A quick and relaxing ride on our yacht out to the Gulf of Mexico or the Bay (depending on conditions and customer preference).  You will be able to see the Perdido Pass bridge, the pass and the jetties.

Then out to the Gulf for a relaxing sail.  We will probably see other boats and then the beach from the gulf side.  We will sail down the beach (depending on the wind of course) looking for dolphins and other marine life.  The trip lasts 2 hours.  This is a great trip for anyone wanting to get away for a while.

What To Bring

On the 2 hour sail you don't really need to bring anything except some sun block, sun glasses and maybe a hat (The sun is more intense on the water).  All other items are provided by Orange Beach Sailing Adventures.  We have drinks and snacks (Water, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Peanuts, Chips, Pretzels etc...) but feel free to bring your own.

Routes

We will normally sail through the pass and out into the gulf depending on sea conditions.  If conditions are too rough for a gulf sail we can also go in the protected bay area.

Overview

The 4 hour Adventure Sail goes to the Gulf under the Perdido Pass Bridge and down the beach either towards Gulf Shores passing all of Orange Beach or sail down to Florida depending on the wind direction and customer preference.  You will get to sail further and become more relaxed than on the 2 hour sail.  We set ALL sails, get out the snacks and relax while looking for dolphins and wildlife.  The Captain can answer questions about sailing in Orange Beach, let the kids steer the yacht, explain points of navigation, and help make you comfortable.

We have a full entertainment system on the yacht with Ipod plugin (if you want to bring your own music) Sirius Sat Radio, CD, CDR, MP3 etc...  We have a large library of music for you to enjoy.

What To Bring

On the 4 hour sail you need to bring sun block, sun glasses, maybe a hat (the sun is more intense on the water), your music, beach towel, and your bathing suit if you'd like to stop for a mid gulf swim.  All other items are provided by Orange Beach Sailing Adventures.  We have drinks and snacks (Water, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Peanuts, Chips, Pretzels etc...) but feel free to bring your own. If your trip is in the morning or afternoon we can even arrange to have breakfast or lunch on the boat for your group or family.

Routes

We will normally sail through the pass and out in the gulf depending on sea conditions.  If conditions are too rough for a gulf sail we can also go in the protected Bay area.

Total trip time is normally from 4-5 hours | departing at 8am and 1pm.

Overview

The ALL DAY Charter Sail is a great way to experience sailing Orange Beach and Pensacola to the fullest.  We will depart our dock at 9am and sail / motor either to the Gulf or down the Intracoastal Waterway depending on wind and tide.  We will set a course to Sand Island, part of Big Lagoon State Park only accessible by boat.  We will take a beach break when we arrive for lunch.  You can swim, walk on the beach or lay on the deck and take a nap.  It's a great place to enjoy the unspoiled beaches of Perdido Key.

The sailing time is on the way to and from Sand Island.  We may have to use the motor and sails to do this depending on the wind.  During the summer, we usually have a good southern breeze which is perfect for sailing to the island and back.  It will be an easy sail with plenty to see.  We will pass behind Ono Island and in front of the famous FloraBama.  Arriving in Pensacola Pass, we should see plenty of Dolphins (they seem to hang out more there), birds and schools of fish (we might try to catch one!).  This trip includes a private sunset, we get back after dark.

NOTE: If you want to sail OFF SHORE and bypass the stop for lunch (eat while sailing) we can also do this.  Just let us know.  Remember it is your trip!

What To Bring

On the All Day sail you need to bring sun block, sun glasses, maybe a hat (the sun is more intense on the water), your music (we provide the radio), beach towel, bathing suit, special drinks you may want, and lunch (we can provide it upon request).  All other items are provided by Orange Beach Sailing Adventures.  We have drinks and snacks (Water, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Peanuts, Chips, Pretzels etc...) but feel free to bring your own. Soft sided coolers only please.

Routes

This trip is approximately 33 nautical miles.  It is the longest trip we offer.  We depart Orange Beach from our dock and sail towards Sand Island in Pensacola.  If you want to get away from it all then this is the trip for you!
